13:00‑13:50 - International Stage
The process of reconstruction of the health care system in Ukraine – objectives, the role of Poland and international institutions – part 2
Aggression against Ukraine was frequently targeted at medical facilities with numerous Ukrainian hospitals and clinics being completely destroyed. In consequence, healthcare services were disturbed in many regions of the country.
Successful reconstruction of Ukraine, that was struck by war, is impossible without well-functioning healthcare system. The Health Panel at Kongres 590 gives an unique opportunity to explore Ukrainian needs and expectations so we can actively support Ukraine with fit-for-purpose response. As international community we are obliged to inform and share our best practices and provide know-how transfer. Eventually, panelists will be able to identify gaps and analyze needs to indicate development strategy to boost the potential and rebuild Ukrainian healthcare.
