Kamila Król

Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Development and Technology

On May 16, 2022, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed Kamila Król as Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Development and Technology.

Kamila Elżbieta Król has worked at the Ministry of Development and Technology since 2020, in the Department of Digital Economy - Digital Policy and Information Division. In the department, she was responsible for managing projects and project deliverables, primarily in the coordination of the functioning of the Center for Entrepreneurial Assistance (CPP), as well as managing projects in the areas related to education and communication and the development of e-payment e-service.

She worked in the Department of Supervised and Subordinate Units and in the Department of Dialogue and Social Partnership - Crafts Division.

She was in charge of organizing and managing the support system for the implementation of projects on the development of crafts and regional services, as well as projects on the development of vocational education. She was responsible for handling the legislative process, monitoring legal status and jurisprudence as well as standards, recommendations, guidelines and opinions concerning crafts and vocational education system. Her duties also included the implementation of tasks for projects of the Operational Programme Digital Poland 2014-2020 co-financed from the European Union.

Since 2018, she worked in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, in the Office of the Prime Minister. She was responsible for handling applications for the allocation of funds from the general reserve of the state budget (including analysis and opinion of applications). She participated in the meetings of the permanent Team for reviewing proposals for implementation of public tasks.

She was responsible for providing substantive services to the Permanent Committee of the Council of Ministers and the Council of Ministers, as well as providing expert services to the Minister - member of the Council of Ministers, Chairman of the SKRM and the Head of the Prime Minister's Office with regard to Poland's membership in the EU and foreign affairs (including analyzing and issuing opinions on drafts of normative acts).

Kamila Elżbieta Król was born on 28 April 1992 in Warsaw. She is a graduate of the University of Warsaw, where she received her Master's degree in Financial Law and Treasury in 2017. She holds a bachelor's degree with specialization in local government and regional policy (2012-2015 University of Warsaw) and a bachelor's degree in European Studies (2011-2014 University of Warsaw).
