Tomasz P. Michalak is a leader of the research team at IDEAS NCBR - a research and development center operating in the field of AI and digital economy - and a lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics, University of Warsaw. He has worked at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford, the Department of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Southampton, the Department of Computer Science at the University of Liverpool, and the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Antwerp. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Warsaw, with a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp. He is leading two national and one international research project. The results of his research have been published in prestigious journals e.g. Nature Human Behaviour, Journal of Artificial Intelligence, and Games and Economic Behaviour and presented at events such as AAAI, IJCAI, IEEE ICDM, ACM EC.
