Associate Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw, where he is heading the Chair in Political Economy. He is a deputy president of the Polish Economic Society. He is a former member of the Monetary Policy Council at the National Bank of Poland. Currently, he is a chairman of the supervisory board of the Social Insurance Institution.
