prof. Łukasz Okruszek

Institute of Psychology of the Polish Academy of Sciences

Graduated with a master's degree in mathematics from the Faculty of Technical Physics, Informatics and Applied Mathematics at the Technical University of Lodz (2010) and in psychology from the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Lodz. He received his PhD (11.2016) and habilitation (10.2018) in the discipline of psychology from the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw. In September 2016, he became professionally associated with the Institute of Psychology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Since 2018, he has been a professor at IP PAN, while since 2019 he has been the head of the Social Neuroscience Laboratory at IP PAN. Author or co-author of more than 35 JCR-listed publications, winner of numerous awards for research activities, including the prestigious Andrzej Malewski Award of the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
