Juraj Marusiak - graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovak language and literature (1994). Since 1996 he has been working as a researcher at the Institute of Political Science, Slovak Academy of Sciences, where he received his PhD in 2003. His research focuses on Slovak history of the 20th century and international relations in the region of Central and Eastern Europe after 1989. In 2002-2003 he held the Lane Kirkland Fellowship in Warsaw (Poland) at the University of Warsaw, specializing in East European Studies.
