Vice President of the Management Board From 2018 to 2022 Dawid was an advisor to the Management Board of Unipetrol A.S - the largest refining and petrochemical company in the Czech Republic. In 2015-2016, he served as Minister of the State Treasury of Poland. Previously, he was a Member of the European Parliament (8th term) where he sat on the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) and the Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO). Dawid has been a Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland three times (5th, 6th and 7th terms) representing the Wrocław constituency. In the Polish Parliament he held the positions of Vice-Chairman of the State Treasury Committee, Chairman of the Committee on Local Government and Regional Policy, Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Group on Shale Gas and was a member of the Parliamentary Group on Energy.

From 2003 to 2005, he was Deputy Mayor of Wrocław, responsible for areas of architecture and construction, town planning, city development, environmental protection and protection
of historical monuments. Dawid Jackiewicz is Vice President of the Board of the DISE Foundation (the Lower Silesian Institute for Energy Studies) and a member of the Programme Council of the Economic Forum in Karpacz. From 2019 to 2020 he was a member of the first Academic Council of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw (UKSW). He holds a degree in political science from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Wrocław.
Dawid is married and has two children.
