Prospects and barriers
of RES development in Poland

In 2022, the electric installed capacity of renewable energy sources reached 22.6 GW, accounting for 37.6% of the installed capacity of the entire National Electricity System. It was higher compared to that achieved a year earlier, by 5.6 GW (up 33.0%). This change was driven primarily by a 4.5 GW (58.2%) increase in photovoltaic capacity.
