He completed law studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Wrocław and post-diploma studies at WSB University in Wrocław. In 2007–2011, he completed his legal apprenticeship at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Wałbrzych. In 2011, he passed his legal advisers’ exam and was entered into the bar of legal advisers.
From 2000 to 2006, he worked in the legal department of a large commercial law company in Wrocław, as well as the receiver law firm, providing legal services to companies.
From 2006 to 2011, he served as Deputy Mayor of Świebodzice. During this time, he was also elected twice as a city councillor.
From 2012 to 2015, he ran a legal advisory law firm, where he worked with large business entities, including companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. He also represented natural persons and legal entities in numerous trials in the field of civil law, competition and consumer protection.
In the 2015 parliamentary elections, he was elected a Member of Polish Parliament from the Wałbrzych district. In the 8th term of office of the Sejm, he worked with the Committee on Energy and State Treasury, as well as the Committee on Local Government and Regional Policy, under which he chaired the work of the permanent subcommittee on regional policy. He also worked on the Committee on Infrastructure and the Committee on Justice and Human Rights. In March 2006, he was appointed a member of the Civil Service Council attached to the Prime Minister.
Founder and Chairman of the Parliamentary Mining and Energy Group, which in the Sejm of the eighth term of office became a nationwide platform for substantive discussion and shaping opinions on the transformation of the Polish mining and energy sector, energy security, use of natural resources, fossil fuels and renewable energy sources, development of electromobility and application of modern technologies in the process of changes and shaping the Polish power system, including nuclear and distributed energy.
In the 2019 parliamentary elections, he was elected a Member of Polish Parliament.
Participant of the youth resistance movement during the communist era, member of the Law and Justice party. He is an enthusiast of mountain hiking, Polish history and independence traditions.
