Robert H. Wade, from New Zealand and Britain, is professor of Global Political Economy at the London School of Economics. Earlier he worked at the World Bank and taught at Princeton, MIT and Brown. He was awarded the Leontief Prize in Economics in 2008, and Best Book in Political Economy from the American Political Science Association in 1992
