Rafał Kiliński

President of the Management Board of Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych Polski Zakład Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych

President and founder of TUW Polski Zakład Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych. He has been involved in the insurance market for 25 years.

Graduate of the Department of Banking and Finance at the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdansk and Executive Master of Business Administration studies at the French Institute of Management. Lecturer at the Poznań University of Economics and the Leon Koźmiński Academy in Warsaw.

He started his career in the financial sector at the First Polish-American Bank (later Fortis Bank Poland). He then worked for the "Warta" Insurance and Reinsurance Company. He established a branch of the renowned international brokerage firm Marsh in Gdansk and headed it. At the same time, as head of the Marine&Aviation Practice for Central and Eastern Europe, he was responsible at Marsh for placing risks in the marine and aviation industries.

Since 2004, he has been associated with PZU. Initially as Deputy District Branch Manager and Corporate Client Director at PZU's District Branch in Gdansk, then General Manager of Corporate Clients and General Manager of Strategic Clients across the company. In 2015, as a plenipotentiary of PZU's Board of Directors, he created Poland's largest mutual insurance company, Polski Zakład Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych.
