Manager, economist with twenty years of experience in financial markets. President of the Management Board of PKO Bank Polski. Previously, President of the Management Board of Alior Bank S.A.

She was an advisor to the President of the National Bank of Poland and a member of the Supervisory Board of Bank Ochrony Środowiska. In 2006-2008, she was the Deputy Chairman of the Financial Supervision Authority. Earlier, as the Plenipotentiary of the Prime Minister, she created the Office of the Financial Supervision Authority, which was formed by the merger of the Insurance and Pension Fund Supervision Authority and the Securities and Exchange Commission. She also served as Deputy Chairman of the Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Commission and Director of the Financial Market Development Department at the Ministry of Finance. She also worked as an advisor at the Strategic Management Department of the National Bank of Poland.

From 1998 to 2005, as department director, she created and supervised solutions for the third pillar of the pension system in the Office of Pension Funds Supervision, and then in the Office of the Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Commission she supervised the insurance intermediaries market. Previously, she dealt with public debt issues at the Ministry of Finance and was associated with the Office of the Committee for European Integration.

She held numerous positions in financial market institutions, including as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, Member of the Supervisory Board of the National Depository for Securities, Deputy Member of the Payment System Council at the National Bank of Poland, and Member of the Supervisory Board of PTE PZU SA.
