Ewa Leniart

Podkarpackie Governor

Ewa Leniart was born in 1976 in Dylągówka in Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

From 1995-2000 she studied at the Faculty of Law of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin (Rzeszow branch), where she received her Master of Law degree.

From 2002 to 2005 she was the head of the Legal and Organizational Desk at the Branch of the Institute of National Remembrance in Rzeszów. From December 2005 to January 2007, she was coordinator and then director of the Governor's Office at the Podkarpackie Voivodship Office in Rzeszów. From February 1, 2007 to December 8, 2015, she served as director of the Rzeszów Branch of the Institute of National Remembrance. In February 2014, she received her doctoral degree in law. From 2015 to 2019, she was Podkarpackie Governor. In the last parliamentary elections, she was elected MP of the Polish Republic for the ninth term. As of January 13, 2020, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki reappointed her as Podkarpackie Governor.
