Dorota Macieja

Member of the Management Board of PZU Życie SA

She has been with the PZU Group since 2016. She initially served as Director overseeing prevention and sponsorship at PZU SA and PZU Życie SA. In 2017, she was appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors of PZU Życie SA. One of her projects was the creation of the Simple Language Office, which introduced significant changes in the way PZU communicates with its customers.

In 2021, she initiated the establishment of the Sustainability Office, which developed the ESG strategy for 2021-2024. It became part of the Group's strategy. According to the commitment stated therein, the PZU Group will not only achieve very good financial results, but will do so in a sustainable manner and with respect for environmental, social and governance issues.

Previously, in the years 2010-2016, Dorota Macieja coordinated and managed publishing and film projects. For many years she was a journalist of the most opinion-forming weeklies and radio stations - including Tygodnik Solidarność, Wprost, Radio Free Europe. In 2000, she published a book entitled "Słonimski's Weeks". During martial law she was associated with the opposition publishing house "Wola".
