As Head of the Promotion Department within InvestRomania, the country “one stop shop for foreign investors”, for over 8 years and GM of InvestRomania for almost 2 years, Cristina has facilitated a 7 billion Euro investment project portfolio, conducting activities of tailored country offers and business proposals before major international companies and, policy advocacy on investor’s best interest and counseling policy makers for maintaining a level playing field for international companies and alleviating investment barriers.

Holding an extensive expertise – 18 years in international diplomacy and business development, Cristina also managed the organization’s relations and operations for bringing new investment projects to Romania’s shores, covering foreign entities, managing B2B, B2G, matchmaking operations, taskforces and power meetings with international companies and relevant actors.

Mrs. Cocîrlă also conducted consultancy activities for international companies prospecting the region/country for project implementation drafting tailored proposals on the investor’s needs for insuring a top position on the “short -list”, identifying growth opportunities for foreign companies considering establishing on the domestic market, business proposals tailored on client request and liaising with public authorities for alleviating investment barriers and facilitating project implementation.

Mrs. Cocîrlă holds a Batchlor’s degree in Law and was trained in FDI policies at Joint Wienna Institute.
