Bartosz Marczuk

Manager with experience in administration and communication, expert in social policy.
He started his professional career in one of the Open Pension Funds, later he worked in the Pension Funds Supervision Office. Then, he became a specialist journalist in Gazeta Prawna dealing with social policy, where he also headed the Labour section. During his career, he was also the head of department at Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, deputy editor-in-chief of Rzeczpospolita daily and Wprost weekly. He hosted the program "Ekonomia raport" on Republika Television.
In 2015, he was appointed undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, where he was responsible for family policy and digitization. He successfully implemented, among others, the 500+ Program, the Good Start Program, developed a network of institutions for the care of a small child. He also co-authored the introduction of the first full e-document in Poland (mKDR) and digitalization of the application process for family benefits. During his work at the Ministry he was a member of the Committee for European Affairs, Housing Council (Mieszkanie+ program) and the team for developing "Immigration Policy of the Republic of Poland".
In PFR, he was responsible in particular for the Employee Capital Plans program and operational implementation of assistance programs for companies in the SME sector: Financial Shield 1.0 and 2.0.
He combined professional work with expert activities. He was a social policy expert at the Sobieski Institute, a member of the Expert Team of the Large Families Alliance 3+, and co-author of the Government Family Policy developed in 2006-2007.
The winner of, among others, the Economic Award of the Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers, Krzysztof Dzierżawski Award, Tulip of the National Day of Life, Sharp Pen Award, Primus in Agendo Award. Author of two books: „Wszystko o oszczędzaniu na emeryturę w OFE”, „Nie daj sobie wmówić”.
He graduated from sociology at the University of Warsaw, completed doctoral studies in economics at the Institute of Labor and Social Affairs and postgraduate studies in international relations at the University of Warsaw and the National Defense Academy.
