As of December 3, 2019, the position of Government Plenipotentiary for Demographic Policy is held by Barbara Socha photo Barbara Socha is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, with majors in Finance and Banking and International Economic and Political Relations, the University of Warsaw (postgraduate studies in journalism) and doctoral studies
in economics and social sciences at the Warsaw School of Economics. She gained professional experience as communications director, spokesperson and industrial marketing director at IBM Poland for Central and Eastern Europe.

In 2018-2019, she was in charge of, among other things, research projects and coordination of social campaigns for the Mom and Dad Foundation.
In December 2019, she was appointed Government Plenipotentiary for Demographic Policy and Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Family and Social Policy.
She is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the Demographic Strategy project and the promotion and dissemination of a pro-family culture. She cooperates with the Family Council of the Minister of the Ministry of the Ministry of Social Policy. Wife, mother of 3 sons and 2 daughters.
