Deputy Minister of Family and Social Policy, Government Plenipotentiary for Demographic Policy

Barbara Socha is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, faculties of Finance and Banking and International Economic and Political Relations, the University of Warsaw (postgraduate studies in journalism) and doctoral studies in economics and social sciences at the Warsaw School of Economics.

She gained professional experience as Director of Communications, Spokesperson and Director of Industrial Marketing at IBM Poland for Central and Eastern Europe.

In 2018-2019, she was in charge of, among others, research projects and coordination of social campaigns for the Mom and Dad Foundation.

In December 2019, she was appointed Government Plenipotentiary for Demographic Policy and Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Family and Social Policy. She is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the Demographic Strategy project and the promotion and dissemination of pro-family culture. She cooperates with the Family Council of the Minister of MRiPS.

Wife, mother of 3 sons and 2 daughters.
