EU legislation – the primacy of the Polish Constitution over EU law

The subject of the panel will encourage the panelists to consider the primacy of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland over EU law. The hierarchy of sources of law, currently in force in Poland, indicates that the Constitution of the Republic of Poland is the most important law, and all other normative acts must comply with it. For many years, there has been a discussion in Poland over the subordination of the law established by European jurisdiction. These issues, important for Polish democracy, will be discussed not only by theoreticians, but also by practitioners participating in the panel.
