Can nuclear power stop the climate crisis?
Energy
The scale of current global energy consumption is not encouraging. More than 80 percent of global consumption still comes from fossil fuels. In order to stop climate change, it is necessary to minimize the carbon dioxide emissions from energy production. Is nuclear energy sustainable? Is nuclear energy safe? How long does it take to build nuclear power facilities? How harmful is nuclear waste? Is nuclear energy expensive?
