Upstream Mobility has been the first and only locally-owned company to harness commercial data analytics capabilities to develop, within the short span of three weeks, a state-of-the-art tool to enable Covid-19 cluster analysis.

Gerald Stoeckl is CEO of Upstream Mobility, a digital mobility company owned by Austria´s largest municipal infrastructure service provider Wiener Stadtwerke GmbH. Upstream provides cities with innovative mobility platform solutions and helps municipal actors to make use of mobility data in their decisionmaking processes. Before joining Upstream Mobility Gerald Stoeckl spent his professional career in consulting for IT projects in the energy sector. Gerald Stoeckl holds a master degree in Environmental System Sciences, as well as a post-graduate degree in Environmental Technologies and International Affairs.
